Here at Franklin & Hawkins Family Funeral Directors we believe that funerals should be a celebration of life, which is why we work hard to help people create ceremonies that reflect individuality and personality. We achieve this by offering a range of bespoke services including dove releases, horse drawn processions and a personalised order of service.
Just like everything else, the cost of funerals rises over time. However, if you invest in a funeral plan it means that you can freeze the cost of your funeral at today’s prices and help you to beat inflation. This will save your family the stress of an unforeseen bill in the future.
Mothering Sunday can be a difficult time for those who have lost their mother, but it is also an opportunity to take time to remember the times that you spent together and reflect on the unique bond that you shared.
Sunday November 11th 2012 will be the 94th anniversary of the end of World War I, Remembrance Sunday is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today. Heroes are ordinary people with hearts of steel. Their courage, determination, and will power make them rise as sentinels of peace and freedom.
On this Remembrance Sunday people across our nation will pause to reflect on the sacrifices made by our brave Service men and women who gave their lives, then and in many conflicts since, and even today in Afghanistan. Let us salute those brave-hearts who lay down their life defending this nation, so that we could sleep peacefully knowing that our country is safe.
We at Franklin & Hawkins Funeral Directors would like to join with the nation and give our thanks to our brave Service men and women who on our behalf sacrifice so much.
